The Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) Guyana successfully hosted the First Hindu Mandir Executive Conference (HMEC) 2025, bringing together mandir executives, Hindu leaders, pandits, and youth representatives from Regions 2, 3, 4, and 5. The conference served as a national platform for dialogue, collaboration, and strengthening the role of mandirs in promoting Sanatana Dharma.
A total of 93 delegates representing 24 mandirs and institutions participated in the conference. The event began with the traditional Lighting of the Diya, symbolizing unity and divine guidance. A welcome address was delivered by Shrimati Nirmala Singh, Principal of Saraswati Vidya Niketan, followed by guidance from Shri Milind Shrikant Parande Ji, Organizing General Secretary of VHP, and a keynote address by Dr. Sandili Maharaj-Ramdial.
Panel discussions focused on key themes such as strengthening mandirs as cultural and spiritual centers, increasing community engagement, developing youth leadership, addressing modern challenges through innovation and digital platforms, and promoting Hindu parenting and Bal Vihar education.
The conference also saw participation from several Hindu organizations, including Chinmaya Mission, ISKCON, Sanatan Dharma Par Upkarik Sabha, Viraat Sabha, Maha Sabha, Maharshi Dayananda Gurukula (Guyana), Gandhi Youth Organization, and Guyana Divya Jyoti Association, reflecting strong unity within the Hindu community.
The event concluded with closing remarks by Shri Saju Bhaskar Ji, President of VHP Guyana, and a vote of thanks by Swami Aksharananda Ji, VHP Trustee – Global.
The HMEC 2025 marked an important step in strengthening cooperation among mandirs and reinforcing their role in nurturing Dharma, youth leadership, and family values across Guyana.
